Mangalam Coalfield is seeking a qualified Electrical Foreman to manage the electrical infrastructure of the Amlabad Colliery. You will be responsible for the safe distribution of power and maintenance of HT/LT equipment in both underground and surface areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Supervise the installation and maintenance of Transformers, Switchgears, Gate End Boxes (GEB), and underground cabling.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations comply with the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) Regulations and DGMS standards.
- FLP Integrity: Strictly monitor and maintain Flameproof (FLP) enclosures and intrinsically safe circuits in hazardous zones.
- Shift Management: Lead a team of electricians and wiremen to handle shift-wise breakdowns and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Documentation: Maintain statutory earth pit records, insulation resistance (IR) test logs, and daily work reports.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR ITI (Electrician).
- Statutory Certificate: Valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (Mining) issued by the State Licensing Board is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mine electricals (HT & LT systems).
- Skills: Knowledge of high-tension cable jointing and fault finding in underground panels.
