Mangalam Coalfield is hiring a qualified Chartered Accountant to handle the financial and statutory operations of the Amlabad Colliery Project. You will report to the CFO/Directors and ensure strict financial discipline, tax compliance, and accurate financial reporting for the mining project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Manage day-to-day accounting, finalize balance sheets, and prepare P&L statements specific to project operations.
- Taxation Compliance: Handle monthly/quarterly filings of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns. Ensure timely payment of statutory dues (Royalty, DMF, NMET) related to mining dispatch.
- Cost Analysis: Monitor “Cost Per Ton” of production, track operational expenses (Diesel, Explosives, Stores), and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Audit Coordination: Lead the internal audit process and coordinate with statutory auditors for timely completion of annual audits.
- Banking & Finance: Manage fund flow, handle banking relations, and process vendor payments/contractor bills.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (Member of ICAI).
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of post-qualification experience. Experience in the Infrastructure, Mining, or Manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Software: Expert knowledge of Tally Prime and Advanced MS Excel. Familiarity with SAP/ERP is an advantage.
- Skills: Strong understanding of Direct/Indirect Taxation and Company Law.
