Mangalam Coalfield is looking for a seasoned Store Manager to head the Materials Department at Amlabad Colliery. You will be responsible for the efficient inventory management of mining machinery spares, lubricants, diesel, and general consumables, ensuring zero downtime due to material shortage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control: Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of heavy machinery spares (SDL, LHD, Winders), tools, and consumables.
- Diesel & Lubricants: Strictly monitor fuel stock levels and issue lubricants/grease against authorized requisition slips to prevent pilferage.
- Procurement Planning: Coordinate with the Purchase Department to raise indents for critical spares well in advance (Min-Max planning).
- Scrap Management: Organize the disposal of scrap materials and maintain records of old/used parts returned to the store.
- System Management: Maintain digital records in the ERP/Store software and conduct physical stock verification audits (annual/quarterly).
Requirements:
- Qualification: Graduate in any stream (B.Com/B.Sc) or Diploma in Material Management.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Store Management, preferably in the Mining, Construction, or Heavy Engineering sector.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with mining terminology and machinery parts is a strong advantage.
