Mangalam Coalfield is hiring competent Assistant Colliery Managers for the Amlabad Colliery project. You will report directly to the Colliery Manager and hold statutory responsibility for safe and efficient underground operations during your designated shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Statutory Supervision: Exercise supervision and control over the mine as per the Coal Mines Regulations (CMR), 2017.
- Shift Management: Plan and execute daily production targets, manpower deployment, and material supply for underground districts.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Support Plans (SSR), Ventilation standards, and Gas testing procedures. Conduct regular safety talks/toolbox meetings.
- Emergency Response: Act as a key leader during emergency situations and ensure the availability of safety equipment.
- Reporting: Prepare daily production reports and statutory diaries for the Manager’s review.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Mining Engineering.
- Statutory Certificate: Valid Second Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Coal) issued by DGMS (Restricted or Unrestricted).
- Additional Certifications: Valid Gas Testing Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in underground coal mines (preferably highly gassy seams).
